I am looking around for a video camera to film some varmint hunts with. I know ya get what you pay for, not looking to spend a bunch $4-500 max. Distance, I would guess to be at or around 400 yards. Not looking to get famous or make this a career.
One YouTube gent has some excellent footage at various distances. Pretty darn good for a little hand held job he has a on a tripod, unfortunately discontinued, about 2014.
Cameras advance as fast as computers. So I look here for any good advice for best bang for my buck. Sony CX405 is what I have been looking at.
I was hoping I could use the screen as a spotting scope as well as film with it. That would allow anyone spotting to record, if not to complicated
Thanks for any help
Jeff
