any one useing this round for deer.looking for imfo on this .a buddy is thinking of building one.
Same here. Numerous antelope, whitetails, and mule deer out to 600-yards with the 105 Berger VLD at 3210 fps. All animals DRT or within a few yards.Yup. Many a deer. 105gr Berger at 3250fps puts a hurting on deer.
Just stay with a .243 win!

LolA 6mm Creed isn't a 6.5 and shouldn't be lumped in with the ManBun cartridge.
A lot can be learned while fire forming that works towards load development and not to mention, barrel break in. Which is considered 100 rounds.I would go 6 creed if starting from scratch. Fireforming is not great, especially these days of limited components. 6mm creedmoor is a superior design.
