163gr 25cal chinchaga bullets

I can't wait to see some verified BC and velocity numbers.
Also the twist required to maintain BC and stability at distances beyond the 133/134/135 where the big ones do their best work.
 
Trying to decipher all of this.
So this company makes a 350 gr .338 and a 163 gr .257 (good BC) Bullet?

A 1/4 bore is in our future builds. We already have 1,500 Berger 133gr & 135 gr bullets, Plenty of Lapua Brass and Dies for a 25 Souper or 25X284, along with a CDG Action, B&C Tactical Stock, TT Diamond Triger, several Scopes and waiting on a 1:7 Barrel.
What .257 could shoot a 163gr bullet for 1K+.???

Going to the .338 we currently shoot Berger 300 gr OTMs and have 300 gr SMK and 250gr Lapua.
I was looking and hoping that a Berger 330 gr OTM bullet world come out. Now this with a 350gr Bullet -- IT really interests me. We have Krieger 1:9 barrels 1.35" straight @ 35".
BUT would a .338 LMAI be enough to push a 350gr bullet to 3K + yds???

The reason why I ask this group is because if there is an answer to my questions -- someone on here (LRH) has it.

It's going to depend on what you want to accomplish at that 1,000 yard distance?

Paper punching is simple. Nearly any cartridge capable of achieving consistency and accuracy will suffice.

Killing is another matter all together. This is a far piece to put an animal down. Slight wind changes and small animal movements.

I am finishing up a .25-6mm GT in a 16" handgun for hunting. Testing the 163 and the 133, 135 will start shortly. The numbers I have for initial development get me to 750 yards with just a tad over 1,000 ft/lbs. 0 degrees at sea level. I get a little boost from being at 4 - 6,000 feet. ;) Good enough for a handgun...

Jumping from there up to something such as the .25-06 or AI and the .257 Weatherby in a rifle simply adds to the energy and velocity for some better numbers.
