The bullet is in the barrel approximately .200 of an inch during rifle recoil, which some refer to as "barrel time". How you handle recoil, gun placement in the bag, how sturdy the forearm is held in the rest, all come into play with many other issues of gun handling. Light weight rigs can be...

    2 Wolves in 2 Days - Ontario

+1 Been going on for a long time. Another side of the coin is how much money insurance companies POUR into the coffers of the Bureacrats that make decisions. Less big game = less collisions with cars = larger profit margins! Insurance companies are a much larger part of the equation than most...

Removing invector choke, replacing with rem choke…? Is it possible?!

I run full and extra full chokes with Large shot including buckshot for predators. Pattern at 40 yards and beyond if that is where you expect to take shots at. Bubba Round Tree on You tube is a wealth of information on large shot patterns that are just mind blowing in how tight they can...

Removing invector choke, replacing with rem choke…? Is it possible?!

I can recommend a professional that will bore and thread for choke tubes in a chrome lined barrel, cost is between $200-$300 if my memory is correct, way less than reamers and threading tooling.

Removing invector choke, replacing with rem choke…? Is it possible?!

I put chokes in all of my riot shot guns and single barrel 12ga., but avoid adding the screw in chokes in the chrome lined barrels. I think that we get OCD on trying to replicate the fantastic patterns achieved in some chokes. How many would ever think that a shot gun with buckshot would kill...

Removing invector choke, replacing with rem choke…? Is it possible?!

Running the 4 D reamer in a chrome lined barrel will eat up the reamer and ruin it. You need a carbide boring tool to cut through the chrome lining. Best to pay someone else with the tooling and know how to get this job done.

    .30-338 win mag

Winchester 7 mag should do you very well to neck up. AGD 7 Mag brass would be very tough brass, also.
