It is a two piece muzzle break that allows the user to "Clock" the brake to get the ports properly aligned horizontally and then tighten some form of jam nut against the barrel shoulder to maintain this alignment.

What kind of velocity you getting with that load?

For those bullet weights, I'd lean toward H4350 or possibly Stabal 6.5, for 100+ grain projectiles, H4831 or H1000 (if your throat is long enough to allow for enough powder).

I went with the Stocky's VG2 for my Savage 300WM. Can't remember which dbm bottom metal ( several builds going on), but 3.85 outside dimension. Inlet is a little tight and will have to be modified slightly. Also need to modify for nut as I'm using an aftermarket nut. Still waiting for a barrel...

I'd go with the Winchesters. In my 6.5 CM, Federal and Winchester produced similar velocities while CCI lost about 30 fps. Upped my charge weight to get back into the node. The CCI primers just fall apart when I deprime. Maybe a bad batch, but they always go bang and my ES/SD is still good.

Where can you get all that for three grand? Some here spend more on each! Lol
