The coldest we have grilled was about -30 F. We shoveled the deck, put a salmon on the grill and waited forever for it to get done. We had a steady wind of 25 to 30 MPH and the grill would not stay hot. But the beer never got warm. :) The salmon finally did cook.

Just shovel the deck and fire up the grill. It's all good.

Last time I was in Colorado Springs was for my son's wedding last summer. I could not believe all of the homeless camps and panhandlers. I like to get down there at least once a year to visit and have dinner at the German restaurant, but might skip this summer.

That's funny, because the buffalo used as a ball bag too. 🤣 I knew a guy years ago that used a buffalo scrotum as a tobacco pouch.

We don't have many ticks here in Wyoming, so it's not a problem most of the time. There is a young lady just down the road that I might check for ticks if she asked me to.

I was actually the second. But Mom knew if there was trouble, I had something to do with it. Even if I was out in the barn feeding and the trouble was in the house.

I have never hunted out of the state that I live in. Mostly it was due to having six kids, and that kept me strapped for cash and time. But I lived in Alaska and then moved south to Wyoming. Both states have good hunting and plenty of public land. I assure you it was by design.
