That won’t work. You have to have clearance for your brass to chamber.
Look at a cartridge drawing and then look at a chamber drawing.
You have to have a sizing reamer to cut a sizing die. A finish chamber reamer won’t have the needed clearance after firing a case to use for a sizing die.
Gotcha. Are you planning to send dummy rounds in for them to make your reamer from? If so they can account for this, but what you are seeing would be similar to creating a false shoulder for fireforming improved cases.
Be aware that you may trade one problem with another by installing an aggressive brake. Muzzle blast increases significantly with any brake that is going to provide substantial felt recoil reduction.
That said is the barrel contour a Sendero or Sendero lite.
Have you tried to chamber one of the neck sized cases? What is your parent case and what are you trying to make?
I much prefer necking down cases as any donut created is on the outside of the brass and worst case can be neck turned if needed.
Necking up creates donuts inside the neck and are...
For your intended purposes on a dedicated hunting rifle that you will set your zero at MPBR and you want the most light transmission possible, I would lean toward a Swarovski Z5 (i if you want illumination) 3.6-18 with the BRH reticle.
There is no need for 24x magnification at the distances...
For $2k I would buy the cheapest Tikka, buy a 7PRC prefit barrel and a Stocky's VG Ultralight stock and call it a day. Stocky’s is currently running their carbon stocks on sale for $399.
Nothing in factory configuration will run as smooth as a Tikka action and the factory trigger is easily...
I had an opportunity to look through these over the weekend. I am familiar with the infamous blue tint of Sig electro optics as I’ve owned them before.
I only detected a slight blue tint in one specific area and the Sig rep said they did the best they could but had to retain a small bit to...
The covering the end of the suppressor is situation dependent. As a general rule, if you would tape or otherwise cover the end of your barrel then it’s probably a good idea to tape or cover the end of the suppressor.
As to suppressor cover, it’s not necessary when hunting. It adds weight with...
