All of them will work fine. I would lean towards the 135gr Berger. I have been involved with 3 cow elk and 2 mule deer hunts where they performed well from 6.5x55 probably pushing about 2600fps. Nothing made it farther than about 80yrds post shot. That one was a large cow elk.

Mine was my 1998.5 Ram 2500 Cummins with 5spd stick. The paint was toast, so you could take it just about anywhere you wanted provided it would fit width wise. With the stick, diesel, and low range it was a tractor. Point it and let the clutch out.

I have Deadair on a few guns and like them. I wonder if the JMac 4 port might be a good choice for your PRC though to reduce some recoil. Make sure you use Rocksett to put the brakes on otherwise they can come off in the suppressor sometimes when they are hot.

Any update on this? My local reloading shop had the 255gr subx in stock so I bought 200 bullets for 7.62x39. I had started to work some 180gr loads with IMR4227, but wanted to see if anyone had info on these with 255gr.
