    Another vote for the 6.5x284. You will gain some velocity over the Creedmore and the 260. I am shooting a 6.5 / 300 wsm and am amazed at its performance out to 1000 yds with 140 gr Berger VLDs. You can also purchase quality Lapua brass for 6.5x284.

    7mm SAUM Load Data

    Yes 63 gr of H-1000 is definitely a compressed load. I don't know how I would get 66 in there and get a bullet seated but the max load showed in one of my manuals is 67. Maybe after these cases are once fired there will be more room.

    Well after shooting today I think I have a keeper. My largest 3 shot group was .69 and the best was .33. That was with a 16 power scope so I feel I can do better.I guess it doesn't hurt to JUMP them It is going to be okay for bullets 80 gr and under. Not exactly what I want for 600-1000 yds...
