On my 30 Nosler I use a Hammer hunter 196 for shots under 400, and switch to a Berger 215 if over that. Most longer shots allow the time to eject the mono and pull a 215 loaded cartridge off the sling. I've seen too many destroyed shoulders and wasted meat on elk to shoot a Berger at shorter...

My 30 Nosler loves the 196 grain hammers. Very very effective hunting bullet, I've shot the 181's a lot but the 196's do better!

Another vote for Trails West and units 61 or 62.This is so much more than an opportunity to kill a big bull. Its an amazing experience, in amazing country, and it doesn’t rely on elk migrating out of the Park.

I'll answer both, to the best of my knowledge. The reticle lights up, it basically enhances the cross hair with a nice light red reticle.....I didn't do a lot of up and down the power range testing. It is an amazing benefit at low light conditions. I didn't see any light bleed. If I was only...

In very low light conditions with the MOAR-T, with the power turned up, it is hard to see the reticle. I have to turn down the magnification. Turn the center illumination on and it is magic.
