My understanding is these will only size less than max. If your die is not pushing the shoulder back enough it wont help?

The question was for lance who had multiple reloads on Lapua brass. A clicker is hard bolt opening on a fired case producing a noticeable click. The saami prc chamber is a little tight and some people are having issues with reloads.

You can make one. Look it up on youtube. Drill and tap the case. A long bolt or allthread a deep socket and some washers and nut. You put the allthread or bolt through the socket and screw it into the tapped case. Then put a washer and nut on the bolt and as you tighten it will back out the case.

Get a hornady headspace comparator. Measure fired cases and screw the die in until you get .002 less on your measurement. On some chambers you may need to have the die bottomed out with a hard cam over. Others you might be just making contact with the shell holder.

Do you have a saami chamber or the AW chamber? No clicker issues?

I find it hard to believe a 225 gr bullet going 2600 would not penetrate a rib cage.

A bullet that retains most of it’s weight will penetrate well and give an exit but it’s not going to do as much damage and the critter will live longer run farther.
